So I have updated my computer to windows 10 64 bitt computer jaws 18. No sounds on the zone. What do I need to do?
Make sure Windows media is set up. That's what plays the sounds. If that doesn't work, it usually works when you restart the PC, or log off the website, and close the page, and log back in.
Sounds here seems to pose different problems for people.
If you are speaking of IE, you have several settings that need to be adjusted.
Sometimes it is easy, other times it requires some fiddling.
Try this.
Go to your account here, turn the sounds off.
Refresh the page. Go back to account and turn then on.
Refresh the page.
Now you might get a notice telling you to allow the media player. Press alt N and allow it.
If that doesn't work, you have more options.
The sounds, even when working seem to be finicky though, so work sometimes and not others.
so I was asked to install windows media player and that worked.
